
Offerpad Solutions Inc. has named Peter Knag as the new chief financial officer of the Chandler-based real estate tech firm that is eyeing a move to Tempe.The appointment is effective June 5. Knag succeeds former CFO James Grout, who remains with Offerpad (NYSE: OPAD) as senior vice president, finance.Knag, 51, is the former executive vice president and CFO of Atlanta-based Turner Broadcasting System Inc., the parent company of CNN, TNT and TBS. He joined Turner in June 2018 following AT&T’s acquisition of Time Warner. From 2020-2022 he was executive vice president of WarnerMedia Finance, responsible for financial planning and analysis, treasury, global procurement, corporate development and risk management.Prior to his tenure at Turner, Knag held key leadership roles at AT&T Inc., dating back to 1999, focusing on financial strategy and corporate development. While at AT&T he executed transactions exceeding $200 billion in total value.Knag began his career in investment banking with the likes of Lehman Brothers and First Albany Corporation. He continues to serve on the board of TAP Advisors, a boutique advisory and investment banking firm.Knag will receive $500K base salaryAccording to a regulatory filing, Knag will receive an annual base salary of $500,000, pro-rated for partial years of employment.
