More attorneys from the just-shuttered Jennings Strouss & Salmon PLC have found a new landing spot.Gallagher & Kennedy has welcomed six former Jennings Strouss attorneys to the firm, who bring decades of experience to Phoenix-based Gallagher & Kennedy, which was established in 1978 and represents clients such as Freeport-McMoRan Inc., the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Arizona Cardinals, among many others.Coming over to Gallagher are Tom Arendt, Haley Harrigan, Lindsay Leavitt, John Norling, Otto Shill and Wayne Smith — all from the now-shuttered Jennings.Bringing on the fresh talent, who arrive as shareholders and will be joined by their support staff, allows Gallagher & Kennedy to “grow smart,” said Jennifer Cranston, a board member at the firm.With the “unfortunate demise of Jennings,” Gallagher & Kennedy was able to “add to our family some amazing attorneys that complemented and expanded our existing practice areas,” Cranston said. The firm was also looking to add some depth to its team, including in real estate and employment litigation.”We’re really picky.
