Former New Orleans Saints offensive lineman Sincere Haynesworth has found a new home with the Arizona Cardinals, after his second stint with the team this past season.
Haynesworth signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent at the conclusion of the 2024 NFL draft out of Tulane. Haynesworth spent the majority of his time with the Saints on the team’s practice squad, while also seeing a short time with the New England Patriots during the month of October. He was also selected in the eighth round of the UFL draft by the San Antonio Brahmas last July.
The Saints chose to not re-sign Haynesworth after his practice squad contract expired at the end of the 2024 regular season, so it’s a fresh start for him in Arizona.
At 6-foot-1, 300 pounds Haynesworth is an undersized player at the position but relies on his physicality and athleticism to win to off the scrimmage. As a valued member of the team’s practice squad, the Cardinals will now have a chance to mold and develop the young player into a dependable piece in their offensive line rotation.
