So, what the heck is going on at Arizona State University as ASU football imposes a bowl ban?All we heard for months was how well the new team with its new coach are doing, and at the same time hearing nothing about the progress of an NCAA three-year investigation.Then we hear that in a means of lessening the punishment of this investigation, they will self impose a bowl ban.This is after we hear that the team might be good enough with its progress to make a bowl game.Another view: What if ASU football is better than everyone thinks?How do you sell tickets, motivate and build players, and motivate coaches, fans and potential broadcasting opportunities by saying that as good as they do, they won’t be going anywhere?And we hear there is animosity among some schools in the new home destination for ASU, the Big 12.
