North Scottsdale home with boardroom sells for $7.1M


The owner of car dealerships, a founder of a nutritional supplement company and doctors were among the buyers and sellers of metro Phoenix’s priciest houses to sell during mid-April.$13,850,000John McCarthy, owner of the Kansas-based car dealership firm McCarthy Auto Group, paid cash for a Paradise Valley house. The house wasn’t listed for sale. Jonathan and Elisa Pinkus sold it. He is a co-founder of Arizona Nutritional Supplements.$10,000,000Delaware-based Napar LLC paid cash for a 7,695-square-foot house on the Scottsdale side of the Arcadia neighborhood. The house has nine bathrooms, tall iron entry gates, reclaimed French oak and limestone floors, a floating staircase, eight imported antique fireplaces, a glass conservatory, a 1,000-bottle wine cellar, an indoor grill and an outdoor shower. Scaz Property Holdings LLC of Texas sold it.$7,075,000The RMW Living Trust paid cash for a 5,088-square-foot house in north Scottsdale’s DC Ranch community. The house with five bedrooms and six bathrooms is located on 2.7 acres.  It also comes with 24-foot ceilings, a boardroom and a two-bedroom guest house. Gina Skalicky was the seller.  Frank Aazami and Bill Bulaga of Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty had the listing.$6,998,000Terrence Larsen paid cash for a 6,835-square-foot north Scottsdale home with four bedrooms and 6 ½ bathrooms.
