
The Cincinnati Reds could be looking for a new TV broadcaster after the 2024 season.The parent company of Bally Sports Ohio, which carries local Reds telecasts, indicated it plans to drop its regional sports contracts after fulfilling them in 2024, Diamond Sports Group said in federal bankruptcy court in Texas.Diamond filed for bankruptcy in March, throwing into question whether it would continue to be the TV home for the Reds, Columbus Blue Jackets, Cleveland Cavaliers and dozens of other teams around the country. Diamond’s Bally Sports unit is the largest operator of regional sports networks in the country.Bally continued to fulfill its Reds contract and those of almost all other teams this year. But it dropped contracts for a few teams, including Major League Baseball’s San Diego Padres and Arizona Diamondbacks.
