
MLB Network’s Top 100 Players Right Now rankings for 2025 have been revealed, with the top 10 being announced on Thursday night. Which teams are most well-represented on the list? Who are some candidates to crack the Top 100 next year?
Here’s a team-by-team look at the Top 100:
Dodgers (9): Shohei Ohtani (1), Mookie Betts (5), Freddie Freeman (8), Blake Snell (36), Teoscar Hernández (52), Will Smith (60), Yoshinobu Yamamoto (63), Tyler Glasnow (71), Roki Sasaki (100)
Sasaki joins Ohtani and Yamamoto as a Japanese trifecta that could stymie hitters for many years to come. Snell, with two Cy Young Awards to his name, joins that trio in a rotation that also includes Glasnow, an All-Star right-hander with some of the best stuff among Major League hurlers. Smith, an All-Star in each of the past two years, will catch that star-studded group.
