Transwestern taps Colliers veteran to lead Phoenix office


With more than four decades of experience and over 10 million square feet managed, there are few people in the Phoenix metro commercial real estate world with more experience and more accomplishments than Bob Mulhern.That’s why it was so easy for the Tempe native to join Transwestern Real Estate Service as the firm’s next executive managing director and city leader for its Phoenix operations, moving over from Colliers International where Mulhern had worked for 16 years.“Transwestern is a great company. It’s very entrepreneurial. It’s privately held and well capitalized,” Mulhern told the Business Journal. “It’s an opportunity to use the skills I’ve developed over my many years with the resources of a great company and to have a very positive impact on the great Phoenix and Arizona community.”Mulhern, who had worked as Colliers’ senior managing director and Phoenix market leader since 2009, replaces Mark Stratz after nearly seven years as city leader of the Phoenix office.
