A two-vehicle crash outside Quartzsite on Friday afternoon left three people dead and closed the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 for several hours, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.The crash closed the westbound lanes of I-10 starting at Vicksburg Road, about 30 miles east of Quartzsite, according to ADOT.State troopers said the accident would cause a “long-term closure” of I-10.”Traffic is being detoured onto Vicksburg Road northbound to take U.S. 60 westbound to reenter Interstate 10 westbound,” wrote ADOT on X, formerly Twitter.Both lanes of I-10 westbound reopened about 7:30 p.m., according to ADOT. …
