Anita Verma-Lallian, CEO of Arizona Land Consulting and Camelback Productions, has paid $8.55 million for the Los Angeles home where “Friends” star Matthew Perry died last year, according to The New York Times.
While Verma-Lallian declined comment, The Times indicated the home was purchased off market last week as an investment property. In 2020, Perry paid $6 million for the mid-century modern home in the secluded Los Angeles neighborhood of Pacific Palisades, according to The Times.
The 3,000-square-foot home was built on 0.39 acres in 1965, according to Zillow, Trulia and other real estate sites.
Verma-Lallian’s Arizona Land Consulting has been busy with several real estate transactions over the past several months. In August, Arizona Land Consulting sold nearly 2,100 acres in the West Valley to Denver-based Tract for more than $136 million in cash. Arizona Land Consulting bought the site for $40 million in 2022.

Earlier this month, Arizona Land Consulting paid $38.1 million in cash for about 600 acres of prime land along Interstate 10, which will serve as an entrance into Casa Grande south of Phoenix.
Verma-Lallian has her eye on even bigger land deals, according to a 2023 Business Journal interview.
“Phoenix has been one of the fastest growing cities for many years now,” she said at the time. “I don’t see that slowing down, and I think there’s a lot of exciting opportunities that exist. I think we are going to attract more companies as well. So I feel very good about where we’re positioned.
“As far as Arizona Land Consulting goes, I think we’re going to continue to buy more sites that are bigger and bigger, and hopefully assembling larger and larger projects. At some point, we are also going to entertain the idea of development on some of our projects. We’ve kind of stayed away from that, more or less, but I think in the future, I do see that becoming a part of our business model as well.”
Separately, Verma-Lallian launched Camelback Productions in February 2023.
“My goal is to have film production take place here in Arizona,” Verma-Lallian said at the time. “We want to help any minority groups that are having a hard time getting financing or getting their ideas on a platform that makes sense for them.”
