Rockefeller Group real estate firm names managing director overseeing Arizona


New York-based Rockefeller Group has brought over a local executive as its managing director to oversee development in Arizona.Brandon Dillingham, who has worked with Hines’ Phoenix office for the past 11 years, was named Rockefeller’s new managing director. He will oversee two build-to-rent communities in Rockefeller’s pipeline and identify new development opportunities in the office, residential and industrial sectors. “We are excited to have Brandon on our team to add to the existing momentum in Arizona,” said Philip Croker, Rockefeller’s senior managing director of Southwest development, in a statement. “Brandon not only brings substantial development expertise in the region but also brings his creativity, humility, and ambition to our growing, talented team.”During his time with Hines, Dillingham oversaw new development, acquisition, and investment opportunities in both Arizona and New Mexico. A few of Hines’ notable projects include partnerships to develop the 100 Mill office tower in Tempe and the redevelopment of the Metrocenter shopping mall in Phoenix, among others. “[My new role is] not dissimilar from my role of Hines, but this is kind of a more forward-facing role for Rockefeller because they want to lean into being best in all of these different asset types,” Dillingham said. “The caveat there is not all of the markets are robust at the same time so we may or may not have a shovel in the ground for all of those asset types, but we’ll always be looking. We like to zig when everyone’s zagging and hopefully that strategy works for us. … We are focused on new developments.”Dillingham is also involved with several business groups.
