
The empty 26-acres behind Walmart might soon see modular off-site built homes fill up a piece of property that has long remained empty attracting homeless camps.After listening to all sides at the June 12 meeting, the Payson council leaned into its commitment to bring affordable housing to Payson. All seven members unanimously approved a zoning change to allow for the manufactured homes, along with site-built homes.
