
KINGMAN — Planning and Zoning commissioners will evaluate a request from Arizona Electric Power Cooperative to change land use designation and approve a zoning change for a proposed electric generation facility in Mohave Valley.During its regularly scheduled meeting, beginning at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 12, commissioners will consider changing the property from a suburban residential area land use designation to an urban development area land use designation and rezone from an agricultural-residential zone to a heavy manufacturing (M-X) zone for a portion of Assessor’s Parcel No. 225-09-052, located near King Street and Vanderslice Road, to allow for a natural gas powered electric generation facility.
