A pair of companies with national reach are downsizing their operations in the Valley, affecting more than 200 jobs.Autonomous vehicle company Cruise LLC and logistics firm SPS Ventures each submitted a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification, or WARN filing, to the state of Arizona, indicating plans to lay off 110 and 93 employees, respectively. San Francisco-based Cruise LLC lists operations at 4410 E. Cotton Center Blvd in Phoenix and 14555 N. Hayden Road in Scottsdale. According to a WARN letter obtained by the Phoenix Business Journal, it gave notice on Dec. 14 to its 110 employees that they would be permanently laid off.
