
Arizona State University and the University of Arizona both ranked in the top 15 schools in the U.S. News & World Report’s Best Online Bachelor’s Program Rankings released Wednesday among an influx of online students for the state.Arizona’s public university system has attracted an increasing number of online students over the last several years. This school year, the system became the largest public university provider of online programs. That’s in part because of the addition of the University of Arizona Global Campus — an endeavor UA took on after acquiring a for-profit, private online school. That school, which is separate from UA’s online program, was not included in the report.ASU is ranked fourth for its online bachelor’s program, serving 66,000 students. The UA is ranked 11th for its program serving around 8,000 students. Northern Arizona University, with a smaller online student body closer to 3,000, was ranked 41st.
