Ex-Falcons WR Rondale Moore finds new home in NFC North

Rondale Moore’s free agency tour has finally come to an end. The former Atlanta Falcons wide receiver visited with four different NFL teams before signing with the Minnesota Vikings on Wednesday evening.

The former second-round pick was acquired by the Falcons last offseason in a trade that sent quarterback Desmond Ridder to the Arizona Cardinals. Moore suffered a knee injury during training camp and never got to see the field in Atlanta.

The 24-year-old has 135 career receptions, 1,201 receiving yards and three touchdowns over his three NFL seasons. Before signing with the Vikings, Moore met with the Tennessee Titans, New York Jets and Chicago Bears.

The Falcons have gone in a different direction since Moore’s injury. KhaDarel Hodge made the Pro Bowl as the team’s fourth wide receiver last season, primarily due to his special teams contributions.
