Home sales at master-planned communities across the nation remained stable overall during the past year, and two communities in Arizona were among the top performers.The Aloravita development in Peoria tied for No. 22 and Wales Ranch east of Queen Creek ranked No. 37 on The John Burns Research and Consulting firm’s list of the 2024 Top 50 Master-Planned Communities across the nation. Those were the only Arizona communities on a list dominated by Sun Belt locations like Florida and Texas.At Aloravita, 562 new homes were sold in 2024, while 462 were sold at Wales Ranch, according to the report.Both of these Arizona communities are located in areas of strong growth in an overall housing market considered one of the hottest in the nation for 2025.Aloravita, for instance, is near Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co’s $65 billion plant in north Phoenix that will employ thousands of workers and attract major commercial development such as the $7 billion Halo Vista development, the Peoria Innovation Core and elsewhere.In October, a trio of h …
