
Meritage Homes today announced two new communities, totaling 219 new homes, coming to market in Smyrna this spring.The Tennessee branch of the Arizona-based company is the fourth-largest home builder in the region, according to Business Journal research, with 550 permits issued in 2022.Meritage broke ground on the two communities — Helmsley Place and Woodmont — last January. Both are in the Stewarts Creek area of Smyrna, about 25 miles southeast of Nashville.“As we continue to build on our momentum throughout the greater Nashville area, we are excited to meet the demand of homebuyers in this market with high-quality, energy-efficient homes,” Chris Edwards, president of Meritage Homes Nashville division, said in a press release.Helmsley Place will have 32 single-family homes and 24 townhomes with prices starting in the $300,000 range.
