An Arizona county known for its natural beauty and outdoor adventure opportunities was ranked among the top markets for vacation homes.Coconino County landed at No. 6 on the list from Pacaso, a marketplace for second or vacation homes. Cape May County, a New Jersey hotspot for beaches, was ranked first.Pacaso used metrics like the number of secondary homes compared with primary homes, growth trends and home prices from 2023 and 2024 to identify which housing markets would be top for luxury vacation homes.“As 2024 comes to an end, mortgage rates are starting to ease, home purchase applications have hit their highest levels since January, and growing inventory is helping drive more transactions.
