Beginning Monday Oct. 30, The Prescott National Forest and Yavapai County Public Works Department, will begin road work on Senator Highway at approximately mile marker 10.4.

Construction is expected to continue through Nov. 3. The road construction will require the intermittent closure of Senator Highway (C56) near mile marker 8.9 and 10.8 and Walker Road (C57) near mile marker 11.

Work hours are from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Residents and emergency personnel beyond mile marker 8.9 of Senator Highway are encouraged to use Walker Road for access to minimize delays.
