
Rural Arizona cities are gearing up to fight for their fair share of federal funding to address crumbling and unsafe roads, as Congress prepares next year to develop a new transportation authorization act.Lake Havasu City Councilmember Nancy Campbell, who also serves as chair of the Rural Transportation Advocacy Council, said the advocacy council is leading an effort to secure more funding, among other requests.
