EdgeCore Digital Infrastructure announced a key milestone: the expansion of its data center campus in Mesa, Arizona.
Through the acquisition of an additional 43.87 acres of land adjacent to its current site, the campus will deliver 450 MW+ of capacity, more than doubling the buildable acreage.
Key highlights include:
Offers affordable utility power: Through Salt River Project (SRP), power is available at EdgeCore’s current operational data center. Power will be delivered to the two buildings under construction upon completion in 2025 and 2026.
Promotes water conservation: The campus requires nearly no water due to EdgeCore’s air-cooled design and ultra-efficient closed-loop chilled water system. Native landscaping also promotes water conservation.
Prioritizes sustainability: The campus was designed to meet specific environmental standards, including LEED and Zero Waste International Alliance’s zero waste hierarchy through EdgeCore’s waste management program.
Meets AI and hyperscaler needs: Data center space will fulfill hyperscale customer needs for AI and cloud capacity, while tax incentives through the state deliver 20 years of cost savings for customers.
