Arizona roads lag behind national average despite federal investment





Road conditions in Arizona continue to trail national standards, a new study shows.The 2025 U.S. States With the Worst Roads report by Construction Coverage found that 16.2% of Arizona’s major roadways are in poor condition. That exceeds the national rate of 13%. Another 41.5% of Arizona roads are in fair condition, while 42.3% are rated good.
