Mountainside Fitness hiring ahead of opening of 20th location; plus 6 more Valley deals to know


Mountainside Fitness is preparing to open its 20th location.Its 40,000-square-foot studio at 10435 W. McDowell Road in Avondale will be hosting a preview party on Feb. 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.Before that, a job fair is scheduled Feb. 1 and 2 at Avondale Home 2 Suites, 10275 W. McDowell Road. Onsite interviews will be conducted for front desk, child care, sales, group fitness and personal trainers.With the opening of the Avondale location, Mountainside Fitness will employ about 2,000 people.The new center features separate group fitness studios, a tiered cardio platform, strength floor with outside work area, a large child-care area, locker rooms, infrared saunas, steam rooms and a cold plunge. It will also include an M Café.
