
PHOENIX — An upcoming luxury apartment community in Tempe is set to open in early March.
Developers related to the Northbend complex, which will bring 310 apartment units to north Tempe, will host a grand opening ceremony on March 12.
The event, which will run from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., will involve Tempe Mayor Corey Woods, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, representatives from the Tempe Chamber of Commerce and more.
Developer Milhaus and Banyan Residential, a private real estate investment firm, are both tied to the project. Officials from both companies will partake in the grand opening.
Northbend Apartments will be at 906 N. Miller Road.
What’s special about new luxury apartment community in Tempe?
The completion of Northbound is a big milestone in Tempe’s urban development, according to a Thursday news release from Milhaus.
During the grand opening ceremony, guests will be able to tour the apartments and amenities, from the pool deck and grill stations to the on-site library and dog park.
Northbend Apartments also has a “Trading Post” that lets residents borrow outdoor gear like kayaks, tents, sleeping bags and coolers.
Additionally, the complex will have an outdoor spa, a fitness center and a clubhouse with work and entertainment areas.
