Mortgage rates posted the biggest increase in over a month, propelling the 30-year rate back over 7%, with the market uncertain about when the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates. The 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 7.03% as of May 30, according to data released by Freddie Mac FMCC, +3.68% on Thursday.
