
Arielle Dix, 37, was sentenced this week to three and a half years in state prison for her role in what authorities described as an “industrial scale” Medicaid fraud scheme that involves multiple co-defendants.Dix, who had moved from Nevada to Arizona in 2019, had pleaded guilty to two felony charges of illegal control of an enterprise. She was sentenced May 29 by Judge Daniel Martin in Maricopa County Superior Court.Dix helped facilitate Medicaid fraud by helping establish fake clinics, obtaining lists of patients to fraudulently bill the Arizona Health Cost Containment System, and falsifying patient records to ensure the flow of money to the fraudulent entities she oversaw.
