TUCSON, Ariz.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Quiznos has made a triumphant return to Tucson with a record setting opening day at the sub spot’s new location at 2601 East Speedway Blvd., near the University of Arizona campus. The restaurant is the first new full-menu Quiznos to open in the U.S. using the updated business model with a focus on an elevated guest experience and is the first step in a broader plan for 30 new locations across Arizona in the next five to seven years, positioning the state as a key hub for the brand’s resurgence.
Customers lined-up to purchase more than 1,000 items throughout the day, with the brand’s Classic Italian sub leading the way as a guest favorite, followed by Black Angus Steakhouse, Chicken Carbonara, Mesquite Chicken, Turkey Bacon Guac, and the Honey Bacon Club.
