JD Vance is coming back to Michigan to talk about economy, inflation and manufacturing

BIG RAPIDS, MI — Republican vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance will deliver remarks on the economy, inflation and manufacturing during a speech in Big Rapids, his campaign said.Vance, the running mate of Donald Trump, will speak at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, at Majestic Friesians Horse Farms at 21750 19 Mile Road, the campaign said. In a statement about the visit, Vance criticized Vice President Kamala Harris, who is running for the office of the president as the Democratic nominee. Vance said he disagrees with Democrats’ policies on the economy, inflation and the Michigan auto industry. “From filling up the gas tank to putting food on the table, the burden of rising prices is a reality that Michiganders grapple with daily,” Vance said in a news release. “It is clear that Kamala’s dangerously liberal policies have not delivered the economic stability that Americans need.”Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. and Vance will begin his remarks at 1:30 p.m., campaign officials said.
