Arizona State University’s Tempe campus has the highest average faculty pay among Arizona colleges and universities, with full-time instructional staff earning an average of $110,407. Their counterparts at the University of Arizona in Tucson weren’t far behind at $107,505.That’s according to a recent Business Journals analysis of fiscal year 2023 U.S. Department of Education data for public and private universities. The analysis includes more than 1,600 universities.The state’s two largest public universities were the only ones where faculty pay averaged more than $100,000.
