Trumark Homes sells portion of its big Dublin housing development


San Ramon-based Trumark Homes has sold a portion of a major housing project it’s developing that would bring several hundred homes to eastern Dublin, public records show.Taylor Morrison, a Scottsdale, Arizona-based home builder, purchased one neighborhood of 85 finished lots in the Francis Ranch housing project on Croak Road that is currently under development last week. The whole project, helmed by Trumark and Pasadena-based Arroyo Capital, will feature more than 570 homes across six neighborhoods.Trumark and Arroyo purchased 162 acres of land last September, acting through affiliates, for $164 million, according to records from the Alameda County Assessor’s Office. Croak Properties, an affiliate of the Croak family who owned the land, sold it to Trumark in September for $164 million. Trumark then immediately sold it to Arroyo, a real estate investor, for $140.6 million.Arroyo buys stakes in residential projects nationwide and invests with home builders and developers.
