A new Lowe’s store is coming to an Arizona city as part of the company’s expansion plan to open potentially dozens of locations over the next several years.
The company’s latest projection on store openings differs from plans announced in December 2024, when Lowe’s said it aimed to open 10 to 15 stores per year. According to a company spokesperson, the new projection of five to 10 new stores accounts for the time needed to “ramp up” the company’s opening efforts.
So far this year, the North Carolina-based home improvement store has opened two new stores in Texas and reopened another in North Carolina that was closed due to Hurricane Helene, a company spokesperson told USA TODAY.
Here’s what to know about the new locations.
Where is Lowe’s opening new locations in 2025?
Lowe’s said it has already opened locations in the following cities this year:
- Magnolia, Texas
- Fort Worth, Texas
- Asheville, North Carolina (reopened following Hurricane Helene)
The company said these new locations are scheduled to open in 2025:
- Georgetown, Texas
- Maricopa
