Memorial Day weekend brings more traffic to highways across Arizona as those enjoying the long weekend make trips out of town. The good news is, there are no state highway closures planned — but this doesn’t mean drivers should expect no delays.According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, no full construction or maintenance closures are planned on state highways, including Phoenix-area freeways, from Friday afternoon, May 23, to late Monday night, May 26.
